RIP

Dude.

Johnny Ramone died.

Now while I'm not punk at all, the Ramones were a seminal part of music and the history of Rock and Roll. Ramones were mentioned in the same breath as the Black Sabbath as the founders of their genre. Just as BS were the fathers of metal, the Ramones were, if not the founders, the leaders of the punk revolution.

I remember when I was in college and Joey Ramone died. That was a shock for everyone at my radio station. Regular programming ceased and we played Ramones songs for like 48 hours straight. It's out of respect.

Tommy Ramone is the only one left. He's the drummer. Never thought we'd lose 3 members of the most well-known punk band in history in 5 years. (Johnny, Joey, and DeeDee (drug OD))
